This was a personal project to kick off the year. I wanted to create some promotional material and a menu for something. I decided on a Valentines Afternoon Tea, as this was the closest holiday and I thought it would be fun to work on a project with a more luxurious and high-end design. I decided to create a poster, social media post and menu.

The target market for this project would be couples of all ages, looking to treat their partner to a delicious, sophisticated and romantic afternoon tea.

I liked the simplicity of the menu and keeping things related through colour and incorporating the illustration as well. The pale pink works well with the grey, however, it is still dark enough that you can easily read the white text too. I went with the colour scheme as it is soft, gentle and relates to romance, in a less intense way than red.
